Budget Truck Protection Coverages
Peace of Mind on the Road!
Unlike car rental, any truck rental theft, physical damage, or any other financial responsibility is not covered by most personal, auto, home, credit card or AAA insurance. Before renting your truck, always ask your insurance provider to verify the type of coverage you have. Never assume you’re protected.
Signing up for Optional Budget Insurance and Protection Plans is very simple. When picking up your truck, just check “Accept” on the rental agreement and pay for the selected coverage. Your rental agreement will be evidence of protection under any Optional Insurance and Protection Plans you select.
Damage Waivers (PDW & LDW)
Covers you for damage, vandalism, or theft of truck and rental equipment. There are two types – Personal Damage Waiver and Limited Damage Waiver.
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI)
Protects you against bodily injury and property damage claims made by other people.
Personal and Cargo (PAC)
Covers you and your household cargo while in the rental truck.
Auto Tow Protection (ATP)
Protects your personal automobile while being towed.
Roadside Assistance (RA)
Offers you the added assurance of having roadside service for items that are not included in the rental.
